This year I was lucky enough to receive the incredible Lush Golden Egg for Easter. It might be a Polish thing (I’m half Polish), but growing up my family didn’t really do the whole chocolate egg thing. In addition to the traditional Easter meal we painted eggs, had an Easter tree, (yes – this is an actual thing), prepared a special breakfast and gave each other gifts instead of chocolate. I’m not sure whether it was because my mum was health conscious or if it’s a Polish tradition, but it’s one that I’ve carried on as I’ve grown up. So when M asked me for Easter gift ideas, this is what I was hoping for – the perfect alternative to a chocolate egg and zero calories! How cute is Indigo photobombing by the way – she loves presents even when they’re not for her!
The Lush Golden Egg is filled with luxurious bath products housed in a large egg-shaped box, finished with an orange polka dot ribbon. It’s big and it’s heavy, but once opened it’s filled with loads of polystyrene to save the products from breaking, because no one wants a broken egg right? It retails at £28.95 and includes the items pictured above. Below is a breakdown of each product, although I have to confess I haven’t tried these yet – they’re just so pretty I can’t bring myself to it.
All the items are available to purchase separately, although they’re limited edition so be quick!
Chick n Mix Bath Bomb. Pictured bottom. 3-in-1 product that comes apart so you can use each item separately or all together.
What Came First? Bath Bomb. Pictured middle right. Pink and yellow bath bomb with citrus scents.
Golden Egg Bath Bomb. Pictured middle left. Gold and glittery – need I say more?
Chocolate Easter Egg Soap. Pictured top. lemon oil and vegan white chocolate for cleansing and conditioning.
I think this is the perfect Easter gift – great for anyone who’s on a diet or who loves Lush products. What are your thoughts?
Love, Sarah xx
